At yesterday's Garda BHAA Cross Country race, over a very windy Phoenix Park course, beside the Magazine Fort, we had Vanessa Sallier 6th in the Ladies 2 .15 mile race in a time of 14.06. Vanessa was also 1st O.40. Clare Sullivan also ran in this race and was 12th in 14.06. In the men's 4 mile race Willie Morris was 29th in 23.39, followed by Tommie Bishop 68th in 25.26, Jack Doyle 85th in 26.16, John McHugh 94th in 26.35, Terry Clarke 99th in 26.35, Tony Connelly 27.13, Peter McDermott 28.02 (1st O.60), Philip Wright 29.12 and PJ Claffey 30.43.
