Eoin Flynn came 3rd in the Corte Ingles 5k road race last Sunday in a time of 15.13 which is his best 5k time since the Rathfarnham 5k in 2010. It’s Las Palmas's biggest 5k of the year with over 1.500 participants. The race was won by Spanish Olympic Marathon hopeful Jose Carlos Hernandez (14.39) who won the Frank Duffy 10 miler in the park this summer and by Junior European Triathlon champion Jorge Naranjo Vichot (15.08). Eoin is getting back to his best form and proves that warm weather training is working. Well done Eoin.
