Sean Hehir had another great run on the Cross Country when coming second in today's Dublin Senior Cross Country in Santry, over 10k, in a time of 31.33. Sean had a ding dong battle with John Coughlin from Metro and was just edged out over an undulating but dry Santry course.  Next came Paul Fleming 13th in 33.11, Louis McCarthy 19th in 33.44, Ronan Kearns 25th in 34.18, Michael Freeley 28th in 34.32, Brian Furey 31st, Eugene Coakley 34th, Cyde Dunne 42nd and Gearoid O['Connor 48th. The men's team was in third place behind Raheny and Clonliffe. In the ladies race our first member home was Catherine Devitt in 19th, running her debut cross country race, followed by Donna Mahon 20th, Eilis Connery 30th and Helen Leonard 35th. The ladies team were 5th. Jack McLoughlin was 12th in the Junior Men's race. Full results are on Dublin Athletics Board website. Photos are in the Gallery.
