Our first Club man home in the Grant Thornton 10k road race was Ronan Kearns 4thn in 34.47. Times were slow on a very windy and hilly Firhouse course. Next came John Brennan 6th in 35.17; Joe Casey 15th, 37.12 (1st O.50); Colm Murray 18th 37.27 (1st O.45); Tommie Bishop 22nd, 38.20 (2nd O.50); Mike Long 40.59, Diarmuid Coogan 41.03.
