We had 17 finishers in today's Frank Duffy 10 mile road race which was also doubling as the Dublin 10 mile Road Championships for 2011. Barry Minnock was first home in 9th in 51.40 and also won the Dublin Championships, Paul Fleming 20th in 54.33 and 1st. O.40 in Dublin Championships, Brendan Hogan was 76th in a new PB of 59.10 (1st. O.50 in Dublin), Edwin Keville 77th in 59.13, Willie Morris 89th in 59.59, John Farrelly 108th in 60.45, Greg Byrne 61.27, Owen McLoughlin 61.55, Mick Bolger 63.20, Derek Bain 64.02, Terry Clarke 66.04 (1st. O.55 in Dublin), PJ Claffey 73.14, Aisling Tohill 75.43, Anne French 77.49, Eilish Reid 77.55. Eddie O'Mahony and Helen Ingram also ran. Full results on National Lottery Dublin Marathon website. The Dublin Championships results are not available yet but several team prizes are on offer at senior men, Masters Men 40+ and Masters Men 50+. Individual Golds and Team Gold (0/50) in Dublin 10 Mile Championships (20/08/2011)

 

We had a very successful Dublin 10 Mile Championships in conjunction with the Frank Duffy 10. The results are now collated. Barry Minnock secured the Dublin Senior Gold (51:40) while Brendan Hogan had a great run and pb to gain Gold 0/50 (59:08). Helen Ingram was 0/55 ladies champion.The other individual honours went to Edwin Keville (0/45 Bronze) and Terry Clarke (0/55 Silver). We had two team medallists: Well done to our 0/50 team of Brendan, Terry and PJ Claffey who won team gold while our 0/40 team (Edwin, John Farrelly and Owen Mc Loughlin) won the bronze medal behind Donore and Liffey Valley.
