Gerard Claffey continued his good form of late by winning the 'Chariots of Fire' run around the front concourse of Trinity College on Wednesday last. Recreating the run from the film of the same name, 2 athletes run in opposite direction around the councorse over 300m to finish at the same spot. The 4 fastest on time get to the semi-finals. Gerard had the destinction of edging ahead of the very fancied Liam Tremble from MSB to win the perpetual trophy for the first time. Well done to Gerard.
