In a very competitive National Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships at the National Aquatic Centre, Blanchardstown yesterday Jack McLoughlin had a very strong run over a 6k course in the Senior boys race to finish up the field in 30th position approx., while competing for Terenure College. On the same course we had 2 club runners in the national Intervarsity Cross Country Championships. In the Mens 8k race, won by Danny Mulhare of WIT, Neil Bolger running for DIT had a very strong run to finish in 56th place. while Gerard Claffey running for Trinity College was 96th.
