We had 18 club runners in yesterday's Garda cross country races in the Phoenix Park. Vanessa Sallier ran a very strong race over a 2 mile course and finished a very credible 11th and 1st. O.40. In the mens 4 mile race our first runner home was Gearoid O'Connor in 11th. He was followed by Willie Morris 19th, Peter Grey 21st (soon to join the club), Gerry Doyle 22, Colm Murray 35, Johnathan Hughes 36, Terry McConnon 37, Joe Casey 41, Jack Doyle 49, Don O'Carroll 53 and 1st O. 55, John McHugh 65, Terry Clarke 91, Diarmuid Coogan 93, Eamon Kilbane 95, Peter McDermott 102 and 2nd.
