Well done to all who competed in the Dublin Cross country championships in Santry today. Donna Mahon was our only competitor in the womens 5k race and finished in 6th place, taking many well known scalps in the process. We had 16 runners in todays Adidas Half Marathon. First home was Michael Freeley in 12th in 73.49. He was followed by Peter O'Farrell in 26th in 76.30. Michael and Peter are well on their way for this year's Dublin Marathon. This race replaces the Perl Izumi 10k and was organised by our own Brendan Hogan. First home from the Club was Paul McGovern 10th in 35.11, followed by Joe Casey 25th in 37.32, Adrian Tucker 32nd in 38.45, Philip Wright in 41.15 and 1st Over 55, Paul Gannon in 41.33 and Peter McDermott in 41.51 and 1st Over 60.
