We had 5 runners in the BHAA 5k Trail Run in the Phoenix Park last Tuesday. They were led home by Willie Morris in 8th in a time of 17.28, followed by Colm Murry 10th (17.32), Brendan Hogan 22nd and 2nd O.50, 18.24, Terry Clarke 55th (19.37) and Eoin Murray 95th (20.28). Well done to Barry Minnock who continued his comeback trail by winnning the Strawberry half Marathon in Enniscorty last Sunday in a new course record and new PB of 68.04. Sergiu Ciobanu from Clonliffe Harriers was 2nd in 68.23. Linda Byrne DSD won the ladies race in 77.21, while Caitriona Jennings a long time member of the Club was second lady home...

At todays U23 and Junior T&F Championships in a very sunny Tullamore Stadium we had 2 Club athletes competing. In the U23 800m Final Gerard Claffey ran a PB of 2.02.9 to finish in 10th position. In the Junior Triple Jump Stephen Gaffney, just 17, jumped a PB of 14.54m to finish 7th in the final. Full results will be posted later on the AAI webs...

In last nights Dunshaughlin 10k Road race we had 10 Club runners. Paul Fleming was the first home in 6th place in 32.50. Last night Maria Dolan had a great run in the St Cocas AC 5k run in Kilkock in very wet conditions and clocked a time of 19.17. Full results are on the St. Cocas website.
