Helen Leonard had another brilliant run in the Cork City Marathon yesterday when setting another PB of 3.00.46. Helen finished 4th lady and 50th overall. Peter McDermott ran 3.47.48. Full results on Cork City Marathon website....

Sunday was a great day for the Club at the Leinster Track Championships in Tullamore, with a haul of 17 medals. The race of the day was Ronan Kearns against Louis McCarthy in the senior mens 800m 1st and 2nd in 2.05.   Caitriona Jennings had the run of her life today when setting a new PB in of 75.29 in the Newry Half Marathon today. Caitriona was the first lady home and 5th overall on a wet and windy course. Paul Moran from the Club completed one of the most difficult Ultra Marathons in the world by completing the Comrades Marathon over 89.3 KM (55.5 Miles) from Durban, South Africa to Pietermaritzburg over 5 large peaks in a tile of 8.20.55. At last night's BHAA 5 mile road race in Dunboyne Tommie Bishop was 29th in 28.28, Joe Casey 38th in 29.09, John Hogan 88th in 31.13, Terry Clarke 108th in 32.11 and Philip Wright 125th  in 32.43. Full results on the BHAA website. Well done to all who ran....
