At last Wednesdays Graded meeting which doubled up as the Dublin T&F Championships we had some great performances from the Club. In the Mens 1,500m Mitchell Byrne (WSAF AC) ran 4.02, closely followed by Paul Fleming (4.03), Louis McCarthy (4.05), Pearse Coyle (4.27) and John McCabe (4.56). At last night's Docklands 8k Run Brian Furey was 2nd in 27.04. Catherine Devitt was 2nd lady home in 30.17 (24th overall), Maura Kearns ran 31.27, Lorraine Nolan 33.07, Valerie McGuinness 33.22 and Ciara Hassett 33.35. At yesterdays Tommy Lynam Memorial Mid Summer's Day 5k road race in St. Anne's Park, Raheny Maria Dolan was first lady home in 18.47 (41st overall), just missing out on bettering her 5k PB which she sert a week ago.
