At today's AAI Indoor Games on the new Athlone IT Indoor track. Gerard Claffey and Stephen Gaffney were our first Club members to compete on the new track. Yesterday's BHAA Eircom Cross Country races were run over a muddy Cherryfield course, with the ladies running 2 miles and the men 5 miles. The Club highlight of the day was Maura Kearns 2nd lady home in a time of 12.56. The highlights of today's Dublin Masters Cross Country Championships in St. Anne's Park Raheny were the Mens M50+ team of Sean Doyle, John McCabe, Joe Casey and Tommie Bishop winning the Gold Medal and the Men's 35+ team of Shane O'Neill, Turlough Conway, Clyde Dunne and Greg Byrne winning the silver medal. At todays BHAA South Dublin County Council Cross Country races Clare Sullivan was 9th in the the ladies 2 mile course in 12.46. At today's Tom Brennan 5k Road Race in the Phoenix Park Louis McCarthy was 5th in 15.48, Robert Murphy 11th in 16.23, Pearse Coyle 31st in 17.29, Sean Doyle ran 18.37, Maria Dolan 18.38, Diarmuid Coogan 20.33 and Laura Murphy 21.55.
