The Dublin 10 mile Road Race Championships was incorporated into the SSE Airtricity Frank Duffy Race and took place on Saturday 26th August. About 5000 participants completed the hilly Phoenix Park course. There were some excellent results at the National Half marathon championships incorporated into the Rock n Roll Dublin Half Marathon. At the recent Leinster Junior Championships. Hugh Prendergast ran 24.41 in the 200m to place 2nd and bring home the silver medal. In Field Events in the same Championships; Isobel Mullarney launched the Javelin out to 26.9m to place 3rd for Bronze. Well done to both Athletes!...Page 46 of 185
