At today's Foroige/Symantec 5k Road Race in Blanchardstown, Maria Dolan was the first lady home in 18.39 and was 9th overall. This run was yet another PB for Maria who is running well at the moment. At yesterday's 30th Flora Women's Mini Marathon (10km) on a very sunny June bank holiday Monday we had 3 Rathfarnham ladies running for the Club. First home was Lorraine Nolan in a pb time of 42.39 (53rd), followed closely by Tracy Jennings 42.56 (58th) and Helen Ingram 43.48 (74th). Helen's great run secured 2nd place in the O55 category. Helen Leonard had another brilliant run in the Cork City Marathon yesterday when setting another PB of 3.00.46. Helen finished 4th lady and 50th overall. Peter McDermott ran 3.47.48. Full results on Cork City Marathon website....

Sunday was a great day for the Club at the Leinster Track Championships in Tullamore, with a haul of 17 medals. The race of the day was Ronan Kearns against Louis McCarthy in the senior mens 800m 1st and 2nd in 2.05. Caitriona Jennings had the run of her life today when setting a new PB in of 75.29 in the Newry Half Marathon today. Caitriona was the first lady home and 5th overall on a wet and windy course.
