On the evening of May 19th 2022 the great volunteer work carried out by the committee, coaches and members of Rathfarnham WSAF AC was acknowledged by the awarding of the South Dublin County Council Mayor's Award to the club. A special thank you to the lovely Councillor Lynn McCrave for taking the initiative to nominate the club for the award which was presented by Mayor Peter Kavanagh at the historical Clondalkin Round Tower. He made particular mention of the huge effort by the club during Covid to maintain as much juvenile training as was permissable in a Covid safe way. The award was accepted by committee members John McCabe and Denis Daly on behalf of the club.Well done to all our club volunteers!
