Sean Hehir is now getting the recognition for the great year he had in 2011. Firstly he wins the Dublin County athletic achievement award, at the Leinster Athletics Awards cermony last Saturday, which he received at a function in the Seven Oaks Hotel Carlow. Full details and a picture were in last Thursdays Irish Independent Athletic column. Last night he picked up the Clare Athletics Association overall award for outstanding achievement in athletics.
