We provide a friendly and sociable athletics club training environment. New members of all standards are very welcome. The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the imposition of strict training protocols as recommended by AAI. Training Times

There are four main club training days. Training plans are provided and are varied depending on fitness level and target races.

Tuesday:      Loreto Park at 18.30. Intervals/Tempo etc

Thursday:    Core/Strength/Plyometrics followed by speed/hill reps.

18:30 Loreto Clubhouse, Loreto Park, Nutgrove  (Winter), St. Enda's Park opposite the tea rooms (Summer).

Saturday:     Track training on the Tallaght Athletics track, Tallaght village. All athletes should be there at 9:50am for a 10:00am start. Training finishes at 11:00am. (Time varies sometimes)

Cross country course Tymon Park. Starts beside car park at Basketball arena (Winter only)

Tempo/Threshold/Intervals Bushy Park. Meet 8:50/9:50 near the children's playground. (Mainly summer)

 

Sunday:  Long Slow Run. 8.00/9:00 The Clubhouse, Main Street, Rathfarnham. This varies so ask about distance/route at Tuesday training as speed times vary.
