Well done to all from the Club who ran in last Sunday's Inter Club Cross Country Championships in Santry Park. Well done to all Club Athletes who ran in Monday's Dublin Marathon, which doubled as the AAI National Marathon Championships. It was a busy racing period for many Club members over the weekend. On Saturday 17th October Louis McCarthy won the Marlay Park 5k Run when setting a fastest time of 15.34 on the new course. There was a very good article on Eoin Flynn's great run in last year's Dublin Marathon in this month's Irish Runner Magazine. In addition there was a picture of the start of this year's Rathfarnham 5k. The article is attached here....

Well done to Sean Hehir when coming 41st in yesterday's Berlin Marathon in a time of 2.17.48. Michael Murphy ran 2.57.40 and Denis Daly ran 3.06.29, both PBs. The results are on the Berlin Marathon website....

Well done to all 907 runners out of 1,066  entrants, who finished today's New Ireland Rathfarnham 5k Run on a calm sunny morning in Rathfarnham. At today's Dublin Half Marathon in the Phoenix Park Barry Minnock was 4th and 1st. M40 in a time of 70.07. At the Lucan Harriers AC organised 5 mile road race Brian Furey finished 4th in 27.20, Jonathan Hughes was 8th in 28.20 and Sean Doyle 28th and 1st M55 in 31.19. This Club team was third.
