Report from Dublin Graded Meeting No. 3, Tallaght Athletic Stadium, May 25th 2022

Well done to all the Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes who ran at the third Graded Meeting at Tallaght Athletic Stadium on 25th May 2022. We had a record five ladies from the Club in one 800m race who all ran excellent times – Carla Sweeney 2.12, Zoie Richie 2.13 PB, Louise Gaffney 2.19, Lucie Richie 2.29 and Edel McCreery 2.13 PB. We had our first father and son team  in the mens 800m. – Shane and Ryan O’Neill. Ever improving young Ryan ran a new PB of 2.08 and his finally beaten Shane who ran an excellent 2.10.  David Scanlon ran 2.02 and Richard Pollitt ran a 2.16 PB in the 800m. Cillian McCabe also ran a new PB of 51.05 in the 400m and Lee Byrne ran 51.38. Thanks to all the club officials who helped to make the meeting a success.
