Our junior athletes (14 to 19 years) prepare for both schools and club cross country championships over the months of September to January. At the end of January the focus changes to preparation for Track and Field (T&F) events. Our junior athletes compete in both schools and Club T&F championships.
We now have a thriving junior boys and girls section of the Club. Our junior athletes have been very successful in both schools and club competitions. We are a friendly club and all new members are warmly welcomed. We give all new members plenty of time to settle in before competing in races. Our junior athletes train as follows:
Tuesday 6:20PM - Loreto Park, beside Nutgrove SC, meeting at the clubhouse in the middle of the park.
Thursday 6:20PM - Rathfarnham WSAF AC clubhouse in Rathfarnham Village (The old court house)
Saturday 9:45AM, depending on interest, either the Tallaght AC track or Tymon Park for x-country.
