We are an athletics club based on Main Street, Rathfarnham village (beside Rathfarnham Credit Union) catering for athletes of all ages and abilities. Our athletes take part in a wide variety of events including cross country, track, road and mountain running.

We are all delighted that covid rules and restrictions were relaxed further from Monday 20th September 2021. We no longer require adults to register for training sessions. Indoor training activities are permitted to take place under strict conditions. The only session this relates to for us is the winter circuit training session. Our large numbers and limited space means that we have to postpone moving these sessions indoors until at least after all restrictions are removed on October 22nd.

As recommended by Sports Ireland we are maintaining overarching structures and basic protective measures throughout the winter season. These include the use of COVID 19 Officers, recommending symptomatic individuals do not participate in or attend sporting activities, the ongoing promotion of good respiratory & hand hygiene along with the wearing a face coverings in relevant settings and considering indoor space densities and duration of indoor activities.

Please note that unfortunately membership is

TOTALLY CLOSED FOR JUVENILES (8-12 year olds)

It is wonderful to have so many children interested in athletics but we simply do not have the capacity to deal with nearly 200 children on our now closed waiting list
