The Annual Club Dinner and Awards Ceremony is fast approaching. It is the social highlight of the year and not to be missed by anybody. The venue preparations are already underway and quite a few of our multi-talented athletes have chosen to be part of the growing annual musical performance under the guidance of Master of Ceremonies Owen McLoughlin. (Contact Owen for the next rehersal)

Whether you are new to the club or a battle hardened racer it is a great chance to meet up casually outside the pressure of training! A delicious three course dinner is lined up at still only €25.00 per person, including wine.(Let me know about any dietary requirements) . Dress code is smart casual.

Everybody, either in the club or associated in any way are very welcome. Come on your own or bring the other half! Rathfarnham has a  new National Silver Medalist in Under 12 Girls Cross Country.  Zoie Ritchie battled through a huge field in heavy underfoot conditions to finish a well deserved second. Zoie also picked up a second Silver medal by scoring on the 2nd placed Dublin County team.

In the Under 14 Girls , Alice Hickey came 31st in another huge field. Alice scored on the Gold winning Dublin team and grabbed herself a medal. Lucie Ritchie was Rathfarnhams third National qualifier. Lucie finished a gallant 55th.

All three girls can be extremely proud of their performances at a highly competitive National level. All that extra training in Tymon has certainly paid off!
