National Road Relays Silver for the ladies team, Raheny 24th April 2022

At the National Road Relays in Raheny on Sunday 24th April, our ladies team took the national silver medal. The A team was led out out by Louise Gaffney who ran the 1 mile course in 5.21. Louise handed over to Carla Sweeney in second place. She ran the 2 mile loop in 10.39 still in second. Laura McDonnell maintained this place and ran the 1 mile loop in 5.19 for a total tme of 21.19. The Ladies B team, made up by Caitriona Dowling, Laura Ryan and Aisling O'Connor, were 17th out of 25 teams and finished in 24.13. The Mens Masters team were 6th in the M35+ race in 20.25.
