Rathfarnham 5k finish line crowds 2019
The 2019 Rathfarnham 5k road race was yet another outstanding success with fast times and PB’s galore on this fantastic course. There was a huge participation of all standard of athletes with 13 runners finishing between 14 and 15 minutes. Congratulations to Efrem Gidey of Clonliffe Harriers who was first over the line in 14:18 and Mary Mulhare who was first women in 16:46.
Rathfarnham WSAF AC had 38 athletes competing. The men’s team of Mitchel Byrne, Paul Stephenson, Louis McCarthy and Paul Fleming were third team home. Alice Hickey had a super run to come 1st in the FJ race in a time of 18:05. The FJ team of Alice, Amy McCabe and Anna Brophy were first overall. Well done to everybody who took part.
