Dublin Athletics Graded T&F meeting no. 8 took place on Wednesday 7th August in Tallaght AC Stadium. In the women’s 1mile Rathfarnham WSAF AC’s Lynne Hennessy ran 5:26.73. It was an exciting race because Anne Gilshinan of Slaney Olympic clocked a new W55 World Record of 5:08.47. Well done Anne! Clare Sullivan was 3rd in the 3000m in 10:29.12 with Sinead Murray 6th in 10:49.34. This is the last of this year’s Dublin Athletics Board Graded T&F meetings. With national and world records set at this year’s meetings we can thank the wonderful and professional organisers and look forward to next year’s competition.
