There were some fantastic Rathfarnham WSAF AC medal performances in the 2018 Dublin Intermediate Cross Country Championships on 2nd December.
In the men’s Mitchel Byrne won individual Gold and Bobby Murphy individual Silver. Liam Dunne and Neil Skelton finished very strongly to get the team equal on points with Brothers Pearse but lost out on the team Gold medal on a count back. They were well supported on the team by Peter O’Farrell, Peter Toomey and Barry Mulvihill.
In the women’s race Louise Gaffney won a great Silver medal. Ber Crowley, Laura Ryan and Aisling O’Connor ran the team to the Silver medal position with support from Beth Neal, Sue Ryan and Orla O’Neill. Great Day’s work for the club at one of the best organised cross country events of the year on the challenging Tymon Adam Jones designed course!
