The final two days’ action took place over the weekend. On Saturday, Richard Keogh had bronze medal success coming 3rd in the U19 400m final in 51.26. Earlier Richard came 2nd in heat 1 in 53.04.In the Boys U17 100m Eoin Bonass ran 12.48. In the Girls U14 80m Sophie Ritchie was 4th in 11.15. In the Girls U15 100m Isabelle Doyle ran 13.15 to finish 2nd in the semi-final, and was 6th in the final in 13.52. In the U19 Girls 400m Sharon Behan ran 1.07. In the field action Rathfarnham had Alannah Fasenfeld and Clodagh Cullen in the Girls U14 Discus, on a day when the national record was broken in 39.14m. The girls finished 12th and 13th respectively. More medal success on Day 3- this time it was the turn of Isobel Mullarney, who was 3rd in the Girls U19 Javelin (24.68m) and 2nd in the Shotput (9.34m). In the Girls U14 Shotput Sophie Ritchie was 14th and Alannah Fasenfeld 15th. Back on the track, in the Girls U15 200m Isabella Doyle was 6th in Heat 2 in 28.08. In the Girls U19 200m Shannon Behan ran 30.34. In the Boys U17 200m Heat 1 Hugh Prendergast was 6th in 24.77 and in Heat 2 Eoin Bonass was 6th in 25.76. Full results are on the AAI website.
