Well done to all Rathfarnham athletes who competed in road races this weekend. On Thursday 18th June in the Docklands 5k, Paul Fleming was third in 15.54, Kevin Donagher was 4th in 15.57, David Power, 8th in 16.43 and Michael Murphy, 45th in 18.10. On Friday 19th. at the Drogheda and District 5k Vanessa Sallier ran 20.46 and Aisling O'Connor 21.20.
At the Michael Manning Memorial 10k in Dunshaughlin on 20th. June Sean Hehir was first home from the club in 5th place, finishing in a time of 30.38. Less than a minute behind him was Louis McCarthy in 9th place, who clocked a PB of 31.34, followed by Jonathan Hughes (36th in 34.37), Ronan Byrne (172nd in 39.30) and Maria Dolan (2nd F45 in 39.49).
Also at the Castleknock 5k on 20th June Sean Doyle ran 18.59 and was 2nd O.50.
