Congratulations to the large group of club athletes who ran in the Frank Duffy 10 mile race on Saturday which incorporated the Dublin 10 mile championships. Mark Ryan was 8th overall and 1st M35 in a time of 51.35, followed by Matthew Horrigan (16th in 53.52), Shane O’Neill (2nd M40 in 55.11), Patrick Marjolet (9th M35 in 56.00), Brian Furey (67th in 58.16), Richie Doran (21st M35 in 58.30), Greg Byrne (27th M35 in 58.55), John Farrelly (4th M50 in 59.56), Colm Murray (8th M45 in 60.05), Joe Casey (5th M50 in 60.52), Barry Finn (154th in 61.43), Archie O'Donnell (56th M35 in 62.07), Maria Dolan (1st F45 in yet another PB of 62.55), Micheal Murphy (330th in 66.17), Adrian Tucker (2nd M55 in 66.24), Terry Clarke (3rd M55 in 66.48), Grainne Connor (16th female in 68.45) and Katherine Howard (68th female in 74.18). In the championship race Rathfarnham athletes picked up several medals, with Mark Ryan scoring silver in the senior men's category, Shane O'Neill silver M40, Colm Murray Bronze M45, John Farrelly silver M50, Joe Casey bronze M50, Terry Clarke silver M55, and Maria Dolan gold F45. The senior men's team of Mark, Matthew, Shane and Patrick were a close second to Raheny Shamrocks, as were the M50 team of John, Joe and Terry.
