The warm weather over the past week did not deter Rathfarnham athletes from producing some great performances on the road. On Wednesday evening Seán Hehir was 2nd in the Lisburn Half Marathon in a time of 68.09, less than a minute behind Kenyan athlete Freddie Sittuk who broke away during the hilly second half. Jonathan Hughes was first home from the club in the Michael Manning 10k in Dunshaughlin on Saturday night, finishing 15th overall in a time of 33.18. Maria Dolan was 4th woman and 1st O/45 in 37.50, followed by Eoghain McGinley (214th in 40.04) and Lorraine Nolan (19th woman in 40.21). Results are available on the Precision Timing site.
