Congratulations to Ronan Kearns and Paul Fleming who represented Ireland at the European Masters Indoor Championships in San Sebastian. Ronan continued his good form over 800m, clocking a PB of 2.00.07 for the event in his heat on Thursday, and finishing 6th in the final on Friday in a time of 2.01.35. Paul overcame injury to compete in the 1500m event, running a qualifying time of 4.11.05 in his heat last night and finishing 8th in the final this afternoon in a time of 4.07.71. Sergio Muro, a former member of the club now based in Zaragoza, represented Spain in the championships and finished 9th in the 3000m on Tuesday in a time of 8.50.90.
