Well done to Barry Minnock who warmed up for the Dublin Marathon with a win in the M35 category at the Gerry Farnan Cross Country races this afternoon. Next home from the club was Paul Fleming, who finished 4th M35 in the 5 mile event. Sonya O’Connell had a great run in the 3 mile women’s race, which was won by Fionnula Britton of Kilcoole AC in a time of 15.36. Shane O’Neill, Alan Danagher, Clyde Dunne, Terry Clarke and John McHugh also competed in the men's race, which was won by David McCarthy of West Waterford AC in a time of 24.20.
