Congratulations to Catherine Devitt who was 2nd in the first BHAA Cross Country event of the year in Tymon Park yesterday. Sonya O’Connell also had a great run in the women’s 2 mile race to finish 4th, in a welcome return to form after taking a break to have a family. A large field lined up for the men’s 4 mile event, with Louis McCarthy first home from the club in 6th place, followed by Michael Freeley (15th), Jonathan Hughes (20th), Brian Furey (24th), Willie Morris (34th), Don O'Carroll (65th), Rory O'Hanlon (68th), Michael Devine (86th), Eddie O'Mahony (88th), Terry Clarke (106th), Daniel Keogh (123rd), Tony Connolly (132nd) and Brian McNally (176th).
