The final BHAA cross country race of the season took place last night, on a floodlit 5k course in the grounds of Malahide Rugby Club.  Seven Rathfarnham runners joined the field of 157 who lined up for the combined race at 8pm.  Brian Coleman was first home from the club, running a great race to finish a close second in 17.31.  Next home was Willie Morris (8th in 17.53), followed by Gerry Doyle (12th and 2nd O/45 in 18:14), Terry Clarke ( 52nd and 3rd O/50 in 20:33), Vanessa Sallier (showing a great return to form by coming 3rd in the women's race in 21.12), and Philip Wright (75th and 3rd O/55 in 21.28).
