Well done to all the Rathfarnham athletes who competed in the Gerry Farnan cross country races on Sunday.  Donna Mahon was 1st home from the club in the women's 3 mile race at 2.15pm, finishing 31st and 3rd O/35 in a time of 18.04.  Helen Ingram was 77th and 3rd O/50 in 20.37, followed by Laura Flynn (79th and 9th O/45 in 20.56). In the men's 5 mile race at 3pm, Eoin Flynn had a great run to finish 5th overall in 25.08, closely followed by Sean Hehir in 8th place in a time of 25.17. Paul Fleming was 22nd  and 4th O/35 in 26.07, followed by Jason Reid (87th in 28.41), Gearoid O'Connor (93rd in 28.50), Pearse Coyle (96th and 4th O/40 in 28.55),  Brendan Hogan (125th and 15th O/50 in 31.05), Don O'Carroll (130th and 16th O/50 in 29..34), Diarmuid Coogan (142nd and 9th O/45 in 32.35), and Eoin Murray (145th and 18th O/50 in 33.20). The men's team of Eoin Flynn, Sean Hehir, Paul Fleming and Jason Reid were 3rd. The event also served as the trial race for the Masters Home Countries Cross Country on November 13th, to be held in Santry this year.  Well done to Donna and Helen who qualified for the Irish team.
