In a historic day for Rathfarnham WSAF Athletic Club the senior men's team took the Dublin Senior Cross Country Championships for the first time from Raheny Shamrocks by just 3 points. The team was led home by Barry Minnock in 5th, followed by Mark Ryan 6th, Sean Hehir 7th, Eoin Flynn 11th, Paul Fleming 19th, Michael Freeley 21st, Kevin Keane 36th and Johnathan Hughes 38th. In the Junior race Jack McLoughlin was 12th. In the U16 Boys David Scanlon was 4th, Ian Rankin 7th, Sean Hayes 17th and Paddy O'Donoghue 25th. In the U14 Michael Connolly was 14th. Well done to all.
