Mark Christie from Mullingar Harriers went one better in winning today's Rathfarnham 5k. in a time of 14.22. Alan O'Brien from Crusaders was 2nd. in 14.42 and Michael Mulhare, North Laois was 3rd. in 14.50. In the Ladies race Lynda Byrne DSD was first in a time of 16.10 to repeat her win from last year. Fionnuala Britton Sli Cualann was 2nd. in 16.34 and Annette Kealy from Raheny was 3rd in 16.46. Annette was also first Master home. John Downs, Donore was first Masters home and was also 7th overall. Rathfarnham WSAF won the mens team title, while Sportsworld won the Ladies team title. Full results are attached. Photos of the race are in the Gallery.
