Saturday 1st August was a big day in the Clubs history when our Mens team won the silver medal in the 10,000m race at the AAI Senior T&F Championships. Barry Minnock was very unlucky to finish outside the individual medals when he finished 4th in a career best time of 31.01, Michael Freeley was 12th in 33.30 and Kevin Keane was 13th in 33.42. The team was second to Clonliffe, while Raheny were third. The picture below shows Kevin, Michael and Barry shortly after the finish. Jullian Kuppler ran a very strong race to finish 4th in his heat of the 1,500m in a time of 3.58 to qualify for Sunday's final. Well done to all. Photos from the lads in Saturday's races are posted in the Gallery section. Link

On Sunday 2nd August Barry was again in fine form when finishing 7th in the 5,000m in a time of 14.48, a PB on the track, followed by Johnathan Hughes (16.11). Julian was 8th in the 1,500m final in a time of 3.56. Full results on AAI website at Link
