Padraig McCriostail led over 1,700 finisher to win the Achill half marathon in a time of 1.15.53. He was closely followed by Catriona Jennings who won the women's race in 1.19.00 in her first half and was 3rd. overall. Willie Morris came home in 8th position in a time of 1.20.49. Their Coach Terry McConnon, who coaches the three out of Trinity College, was delighted with the results. Other Club finishers were John Hogan (1.41), Ashling Tohill (1.47), Lorraine Nolan (1.48), Eamon Collins (1.51) and Elaine Tohill (1.57). Full results on Achill half marathon website at Link.
