Seán Hehir came 1st in the Run ROS Roscommon marathon on Saturday 23rd March 2019. He ran 2:23:23 as a training run for an upcoming marathon!! Incredible stuff Seán and best of luck at the main event. FULL RESULTS HERE...

In the 25.5km long Maurice Mullins mountain Half Rathfarnham athletes featured well. Ruairi Long finished 4th, Barry Minnock 5th, Colm Moran 7th, Ciaran Aylward 11th, Eoin Flynn 24th and Ora McEvoy 54th. The MSB ST.Patrick’s Festival 5k 2019 took place on Monday 18th March with about 1300 finishers in this annual race around the city centre. Rathfarnham WSAF AC had two runners in the 2019 Mullingar Half Marathon on St. Patrick's Day. Seán Hehir, a man back on an upward trajectory again, was just piped for first place in a time of 68:06. With wind, rain and sunshine it was ideally tough for a good performance for David Power at the Bohermeen Meath Spring Half Marathon 2019 on Sunday March 10th. In one of the performances of the year so far Rathfarnham WSAF AC's Shane O'Neill ran a super time of 4:11:16 to take silver in the M45 1500m at AIT. His time was so fast it was even better than the M35 and M40 winners!! Bad luck having a double masters world champion winner in his age group! ...

There were three Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes in the IMRA Maulin Hill Race on Saturday March 9th . Great runs saw them all finish in the top 10. Peter O’Farrell was 2nd, Ciaran Aylward 7th and Gael Hernandez 10th. Well done to the trio....

Well done to those who competeted in the National Indoor Championships in Abbotstown. Carla Sweeney finished an excellent 7th in the 1500m final in 4:33:84.
