There was a good turnout to kick of the very well organized 2019 Dublin Graded T&F Championship series, with the Irishtown track being the first venue. There was a large participation in the 2019 National Road Relay Championships in Raheny. Rathfarnham WSAF AC’s M35 team of Shane O'Neill, Bobby Murphy and Paul Fleming won the silver medal. The morning of Satuday April 27th saw Seán Hehir running yet another class inspirational marathon time of 2:18. Paul Stephenson ran a fantastic 2:29. The IMRA trial for the European Mountain Running Championships were held in Wicklow on Saturday April 27th. The course stated in Crone wood and finished at the top of Djouce mountain. There was a great haul of medals for Rathfarnham WSAF AC at the National 10k Championships on Sunday April 14th 2019. Seán Hehir knocked out a cracking 67:05 time to finish 27th in the 38,000 strong field at the 2019 Berlin Half marathon on Sunday 7th April.
