There was some great running at the Dublin Athletics Track & Field meeting no.3 at the Irishtown Stadium on Wednesday 29th May. Well done to the two Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes wearing the Irish jersey at the International Flanders Athletics Meeting, Oorgedam, Belgium on the 25th of May. Seán Hehir had a great win on Saturday 25th May 2019 in the Glen to Glen Half marathon. He took a whole 9 minutes of the course record clocking up 72 minutes. Incredible time given the huge climb all the way up to Glenmacnass Waterfall and back. Well done to Rene and Glendalough AC who organised the race. Will we see more of Seán in the mountains...

The Bob Heffernan 5k road race is one of the older races in Co Meath. It is dedicated to the memory of Bob Heffernan who was one of the founding members of Na Fianna AC.
