Well done to Barry Minnock who warmed up for the Dublin Marathon with a win in the M35 category at the Gerry Farnan Cross Country races this afternoon.  Next home from the club was Paul Fleming, who finished 4th  M35 in the 5 mile event. Congratulations to Paul Kelders who ran 3.01.47 in the Amsterdam marathon this morning in windy conditions, shaving 40 minutes off his previous best time.  Kenyan athlete Wilson Chebet  set a course record in winning the race in a time of 2.05.41.  Full results are available on the Amsterdam Marathon site....

A small field of 86 athletes lined up in the sunshine this morning for the second annual Tallaght AC 5 mile road race, held over a tough two lap course.  The race was won by Sean Connolly of the host club in a time of 24.21.
