Well done to the two Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes wearing the Irish jersey at the International Flanders Athletics Meeting, Oorgedam, Belgium on the 25th of May. Seán Hehir had a great win on Saturday 25th May 2019 in the Glen to Glen Half marathon. He took a whole 9 minutes of the course record clocking up 72 minutes. Incredible time given the huge climb all the way up to Glenmacnass Waterfall and back. Well done to Rene and Glendalough AC who organised the race. Will we see more of Seán in the mountains...

In the Business Houses Athletics Association Beach 5k in Sandymount on the evening of Tuesday 21st of May Kevin Donagher ploughed through the sand for second place in 17:21. Colm Murray ran 18:30 and Vanessa Sallier ran 21:23. Well done to the bucket and shovel brigade! ...

The Bob Heffernan 5k road race is one of the older races in Co Meath. It is dedicated to the memory of Bob Heffernan who was one of the founding members of Na Fianna AC. A large group of 23 Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes took part in the 2019 Dublin Novice 5k Road Race Championships incorporated into the Tallaght AC 5k.
