Well done to Eoin Flynn in winning the BHAA 5k Road Race in a windy Marley Park today in a time of 15.57. Willie Morris was 5th (17.01) and showed no ill effects of his Jingle Bells 5K on Saturday. Barry Minnock and Donna Mahon had superb runs in their marathon debut in the Florence Marathon today. Barry was home 12th in a time of 2.24.00 out of a field of over 8,100 runners, on a largely flat course featuring cobblestones and sharp corners.
