In the ladies 2.5 mile race we had 2 club athletes. Vanessa Sallier was 11th. and 1st O.40. Vanessa was closely followed by Miriam McCormack in 12th. Well done to all club athletes who ran in very muddy conditions in ALSAA today. Support was great around the course from club members, which kept everyone going in very testing conditions. Well done to Gerard Claffey, running for the Trinity DUHAC team, ran 2.10 in a very fast indoor 800m yesterday in Nenagh. This was his first indoor race. Full results to follow shortly on IUAA website....

We had 2 club runners in the Quantum Life, Dungarven 10 mile road race last Sunday. The race was organised by West Waterford AC. Mick Bolger ran a very fast time of 60.11 and finished 59th out of 1,050 finishers. Eddie O'Mahoney finished in 235th in 67.40. Well done to both. Full results on West Waterford AC website....

Sean Hehir continued his good form by coming 4th in Sunday's Raheny 5 in a personal best time of 24.29 which is also a Club record.
