Well done to Paul Fleming who represented the club at the European Masters Indoor Champs in Belgium last week. In the 3000m finals on Wednesday Paul was 9th in the faster of two heats in a time of 8.51.70, and he finished 6th in his 1500m race in 4:09.42 yesterday. Full results are on the EVACI 2011 site. ...

Well done to all the athletes who took part in the St Patrick’s Festival 5k Road Race yesterday. In today's Craughwell 10 Mile road race we had some great performances with Kevin Bolger 8th in 56.11, Brian Furey 8th in 56.40, Mick Bolger 30th in 59.50 and Donna Mahon 34th overall and 3rd lady in 60.51. Well done to all.. Full results at Craughwell Athletic Club website....

Paidraig McCriostail continued his good form by winning the 10k Marlay Park 'Urban Trail' race last Saturday 12th March in a time of 39.38. Zoe Melling was 2nd. in the ladies race and 38th overall in a time of 48.41. She won the F40 category. Sean Hehir continues his fine form on the road by winning the Adare 10k road race today in a time of 31.17. It was on a very windy course which was not suitable for fast running.
