In the mens 1,500m we had great runs from Brian O'Donoghue (4.18), Ian Ingram (in a PB of 4.20.02), Paul McGovern (4.24 in his first 1,500m), Jonathan Hughes (4.27), Pierse Coyle (4.41) and Peter McDermott (5.50). Michael Freely ran 15.49 in the 5,000m. Full results on Dublin Board website Link ...

Caitriona Jennings won the Ladies race in the Gov. Services 5m road race in a time of 28.21 in Dunboyne on Tuesday night. She was also 16th overall. In a field of 695 finishers Helen Leonard was first lady home O35 in a time of 19.22 in the John Buckley Sports 5k road race in Cork. Well done to Helen. Excellent results were achieved by Club athletes in the IMRA European trials in Glenmalure yesterday. First home and 2nd overall was Kevin Keane, followed in 3rd place by Mark Ryan and 4th Peter O'Farrell. Michael Treacy, still only 15, was 9th overall and 1st Junior.
