Conditions in Kilbeggan on Sunday 22nd.were not for the faint-hearted, due to gale-force winds and driving rain. In the Lotto Cross Cup in Belgium today, Sean Hehir, running on the Irish team for the first time, finished in 22nd position and 4th scoring member on the Irish team. In a historic day for Rathfarnham WSAF Athletic Club the senior men's team took the Dublin Senior Cross Country Championships for the first time from Raheny Shamrocks by just 3 points. The AAI National Marathon 2009 was run in conjunction with the Dublin Marathon on 26th Oct. 2009.
